May 2, 2017: Let’s play ball! Our Spring Social was a family event held at Riley Park. Our Charleston Riverdogs took on the Lakewood Blue Claws and lost in a close game 2-3. Rotarian baseball fans and their guests enjoyed a pre-game cookout held under the tent at Murray’s Mezzanine along the first base line. There were plenty of hotdogs, hamburgers and adult beverages for everyone! It was a wonderful evening to spend at the ballpark cheering on our Riverdogs. April 6, 2016: Baseball season is here! Our Spring Social was a family event held at the inaugural “Battle of the Beaches” exhibition opener at Riley Park. The Riverdogs took on the Myrtle Beach Pelicans and were held to one hit – losing 0-2. Rotarian baseball fans enjoyed a pre-game cookout held under the tent at Murray’s Mezzanine along the first base line. There were plenty of hotdogs and hamburgers for everyone! Spring Social: An Evening with the Charleston Riverdogs
April 14, 2015: Our Spring Social was a family event held at the Riverdogs game. In spite of the all day threat of rain, dedicated Rotarian baseball fans came out and enjoyed what ended up being a perfect evening and even better game. After a slow start, the Riverdogs made a comeback and sealed the win with a walk off single in the bottom of the ninth to win 5-4 over Augusta. Rotarians and their families enjoyed a pre-game cookout under the tent at Murray’s Mezzanine. There was plenty of hotdogs and hamburgers for everyone! A good time was had by all!
