FEB. 19, 2014 — Our Light Up the Night Gala was held in lieu of our regular meeting this week. Members and their guests wined and dined in the Gold Room at the Francis Marion while enjoying live jazz music.
There were wonderful silent auction items up for bid. The highlight of the evening was the announcement that our club is transitioning this year to the Holiday Parade of Boats as our new fund raising event in December 2014. Attendees were asked to help us brighten the night by purchasing “lights” in $50 in-crements to help the many organizations funded through our RCCF.
We appreciate the club’s overwhelming support of the Gala! A big thank you to Jeanne Jamme and the entire Light Up the Night committee for all of their efforts in planning and coordinating this event!
